Stats Zone: De Silvestri on target when Bologna beat Salernitana

Bologna defeated visiting Salernitana in the Italien Serie A on Sunday 2-3 (0-0).

Salernitana’s Stefan Strandberg was sent off in the 34th minute.

Bologna’s Roberto Soriano was sent off in the 50th minute.

The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Federico Bonazzoli made his mark as he found the net to give Salernitana the lead.

With more than 30 minutes on the clock, Bologna’s Lorenzo De Silvestri scored, from a pass from Nicola Sansone, and equalised.

In the 70th minute, Mamadou Coulibaly netted, to give Salernitana the lead. However, Salernitana were unable to make more of an impression.

Marko Arnautovic equalised for Bologna in the 75th minute, with an assist by Jerdy Schouten.

Just two minutes later, with an assist by Riccardo Orsolini, it was Lorenzo De Silvestri who scored again. This time he scored ensuring that the team took the lead.

Bologna’s Jerdy Schouten was sent off in the 88th minute.

In the next games in the Italien Serie A, Bologna will play Atalanta (away) on 2021-08-28, Verona (home) on 2021-09-12 and Inter (away) on 2021-09-19. Salernitana play Roma (home) on 2021-08-29, Torino (away) on 2021-09-12 and Atalanta (home) on 2021-09-19.
