Nicky Cadden claimed a hat-trick at home against Crawley Town, as Forest Green won 6-3 (2-2) in the England League Two. Jamille Matt, Mathew Stevens and Jake Young scored the remaining goals for the home side, while Crawley Town’s goals came through Hessenthaler and Appiah.
The hosting team Forest Green started best and were already 1-0 up at the start of the game. After only one minute Nicky Cadden found the net.

Straight after the break, Jamille Matt found the net and gave Forest Green the lead again.
In the 67th minute, Nicky Cadden scored, to increase the lead for Forest Green.
Nicky Cadden also scored in the 69th minute as he netted, and then completed a hatrick.
Jake Young increased Forest Green’s lead, in the 78th minute.
The goal that reduced the score to 6-3 came, when Kwesi Appiah scored a goal for Crawley Town. But Crawley Town ran out of steam, what brought the final score to 6-3.
Forest Green have now won four games in a row.
Forest Green are now at 12 points after four games, while Crawley Town have taken three points from three games.
The last meeting between the teams ended in a 0-0 draw, with Crawley Town at home in April 2021.
