Sergio Aguero looking to leave FC Barcelona already

Following Lionel Messi’s shock exit from FC Barcelona, the Catalan club could be about to lose another influential Argentine as part of the fallout.

According to recent suggestions that have been made by the Spanish Football Podcast co-host Phil Kitromilides (via Football Espana), it is believed that ‘that sources close to Barcelona’ have hinted to him the striker is eyeing up a move to the MLS.

It is believed that the striker is understood to be ‘disappointed’ at Messi’s exit as he was keen to play alongside one of his closest friends at club level, having spent many times on the field together at the international level.

The 33-year-old has already had a tough start to life back in Spain after making a return to the country following his legendary time at Manchester City following a switch from Atletico Madrid as he is currently suffering from an injury; maybe he has spent time searching for all the best betting bonuses to pass the time as he recovers.

Aguero is not expected to make an appearance until October at the earliest after the club confirmed in a statement that he had suffered a right calf injury and would be out for around ten weeks.

“Tests carried out on first-team player Kun Aguero have confirmed a right calf injury. He will be out around ten weeks,” they wrote.

Indeed, things are far from great at FC Barcelona at the moment as the club are in a heap of disarray with so many different things going on off the pitch.

Club president Joan Laporta has recently revealed that the club’s debt levels continue to mount despite the fact that they offloaded Messi’s wages from the club’s books, although the likes of Aguero, Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia have all been added. The club need to head to and obtain the casino bonuses quickly, as it could help them to increase their revenues.

There is also an alleged problem in regards to trying to offload players that they have looked to place on the transfer list, with many of them either not wanting to leave or not being able to generate the desired interest. Samuel Umtiti is just one of those individuals who is thought to have been causing a problem.

Of course, Aguero’s desire to leave the club almost immediately will not be welcomed by the FC Barcelona hierarchy or the Nou Camp faithful, but if there is any truth in it, then they could potentially be able to offload even more wages as they look to try and save the club’s future within the game.
