Stats Zone: Denmark lose away to England in extra time

It was to be a closely-fought encounter when Denmark faced England away in the EM 2021 Semifinal. However, in extra time England pulled away and sealed a 2-1 (1-1) win.

There was no real shape to the match until Denmark took the lead just on the half-hour mark through Mikkel Damsgaard, who scored, making it 0-1.

1-1 came through an own-goal in the 39th minute.

The deciding goal came right at the end of the game, when Harry Kane scored a 2-1 for England. Kane then completed the team’s come back.
