UEFA Champions League fans have been reacting on the social media site Twitter tonight as Paris Saint-Germain fans take over part of Manchester ahead of their round-of-16 first leg match with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The supporters, having travelled up from the French capital of Paris throughout the day, made their home for the afternoon at Exchange Square, chanting loudly and letting off flares.
The PSG fans have proven a distraction to workers and shoppers in the centre of the city, as we’ll find out later when we look at some of the reactive Tweets.
They’re hoping that their team can cause an upset in the first leg in Manchester, ahead of welcoming the Red Devils to the Parc des Princes in the return fixture in a few weeks.
Tonight’s hosts are the slight favourites after a revival under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and will look to silence those fans this evening. Check out some of the best Tweets on the PSG fans’ antics, below…

And people wonder why football isn’t attractive to families and kids… all in good spirit (at the moment) but is this an acceptable way to behave in a city centre just because they are football fans. @MENnewsdesk @PSG_English pic.twitter.com/r9iTFfr0sr
