There have been mixed reactions from Manchester United fans on Twitter to the announcement of a one-year contract extension for right-back Ashley Young.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been busy in the last few weeks getting players to put pen to paper on new deals at Old Trafford, with the likes of Phil Jones and Anthony Martial doing so this year.
Young is the latest for the new manager who’s hit the ground running with 11 wins in 10 in Manchester, signing on the dotted line to remain at the club until summer 2020.
The England international signed for the Reds from Aston Villa in 2011 and is one of the longest-serving members of the current squad, not too far from his 200th appearance. In his time with the English football giants, Young has lifted such trophies as the Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup.
