Furious Southampton fans have taken to social media site Twitter to vent their anger after a last-gasp loss to Cardiff City in the Premier League.
Ralph Hesenhuttl’s side were hosting their relegation rivals at the St Mary’s Stadium in one of five 3pm kick-offs this afternoon.
The Saints were hoping for a first home win since January 19 and to move six points clear of the drop zone, instead, they got a shabby performance against the buoyant Bluebirds.
The Welshmen took the lead in the 69th minute through the rare commodity of a Sol Bamba goal and thought they had salvaged a miraculous point in the first minute of added time after the goal of Jack Stevens.
But just two minutes later in the 93rd minute, Cardiff retook the lead and all three points thanks to a Kenneth Zohore strike.
Southampton fans were understandably frustrated and as we’ll find out in the Tweets below, made no secret of it on Twitter…

We’ve become the new Sunderland.
What a joke.— Eddie Williams (@the_edster_) February 9, 2019
You legitimately conceded within two minutes of scoring?
Laughable. Truly laughable.

That’s it. I’ve supported you for 35 years. But no more. I no longer give a s**t what happens to you and Gao’s money. #saintsfc
