Everton fans on the social media site Twitter have been reacting to a bizarre Kurt Zouma red card in their Premier League defeat to Watford, this evening.
The on-loan Chelsea man was sent off by referee Lee Probert for a second bookable offence in the clash between the two mid-table rivals.
However, both yellow cards came after the full-time whistle at Vicarage Road as Zouma protested to the referee about decisions made against the Toffees during the game.
In a close-knit affair in Hertfordshire, Andre Gray scored the only goal of the match for the Hornets 20 minutes after half-time, giving them three points to boost their chances of clinching seventh place. Therefore, damaging Everton’s.
The odd red card incident put the sour cherry on the cake for Everton supporters after an all-around forgettable day that saw them lose vital ground. Understandably, some fans on Twitter were bemused and angered…
You got to play smarter than that. #PL #WATEVE

Add a bit of insult to injury. In the end, either Lewin and Tosun need to score.
