The football community has been reacting to a new advert first published on the social media site Twitter starring Ryan Giggs’ brother, Rhodri Giggs.
The advert for the bookmakers’ Paddy Power centres around the idea of loyalty, one of the biggest themes in modern football and something Giggs is praised for, having spent his entire career at Manchester United.
However, many questioned Giggs’ loyalty after it was exposed in 2011 that he had enjoyed an eight-year love affair with Rhodri’s wife and there was a subsequent falling out between the brothers.
The advert contains many references to the affair and the playing career of Giggs, Ryan that is, and football fans absolutely love it. With Rhodri even hinting at one point that he’s a Manchester City fan.
