It seems that Liverpool and Manchester City will not be only going up against each other for the Premier League title this season.
Of course, when speaking of the title race, you would have to include Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in that conversation, with many having already ear-marked the Blues as their favourite to lift the trophy by the end of the campaign. Some will have made that bet when they were looking for the best casino bonuses available here on netti-kasino.org and killed two birds with one stone.
Liverpool and Manchester City, though, could be about to square off against each other for a new addition to their squads as they are keeping tabs on a player who is performing rather well in the current campaign.
Recent reports that have been circulating (via SportBible), the two powerhouses are keeping tabs on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Hwang Hee-chan.
The South Korean international has been in good form for the Midlands outfit, having managed to take some of the pressure off that Raul Jimenez may have been feeling to find the back of the net regularly as the Asian forward has chipped in with four goals in his eight Premier League appearances thus far.
However, Wolves will have been alerted to the interest that Hwang is now attracting, which is why they are looking to act as fast as possible in the January transfer window and turn their initial loan deal from RB Leipzig into a permanent deal as soon as possible; an option that they have available to them.
Wolves boss Bruno Lage, though, is hoping to hold onto Hwang and his other star forwards.
“I hope the four wingers can stay with us because I’m very happy with them,” he revealed.
“Not only Hwang, (Francisco) Trincao, Daniel (Podence) and Adama because they can give us different solutions.”
The 25-year-old is understood to have been watched by both Liverpool and Manchester City a number of times already this season, which could make things a little difficult for the Old Gold.
Of course, with January right around the corner, there will always be transfer speculation surrounding players who are performing well and Hwang’s name was always going to be one that would likely enter the mix.
However, it would have to be considered a surprise to learn that two of the Premier League’s giants are already looking at him and the possibility of taking him away from Molineux just a few months into his career in English football.
