Reading were ahead 1-0 in the Championship game at St Andrew’s but Coventry City came back to win 2-1.
Away team Reading took the lead just before half time as John Swift scored.
With barely 30 minutes on the clock, Coventry City’s Jamie Allen found the net and equalised.
The deciding goal came in the 90th minute, when Matt Godden scored a 2-1 for Coventry City. Godden then completed the team’s come back.
Reading have had a sluggish start to the season and have only three points from their first four games. Coventry City are on nine points.
The last match between the teams ended in a 3-0 home win for Reading in January 2021.
