Straight after the break, Dara O’Shea scored and increased the team’s lead.
In the 53rd minute, Alex Mowatt netted, from a pass from Karlan Ahearne-Grant, to increase the lead for West Bromwich Albion.
West Bromwich Albion found the net once more, this time through Callum Robinson, who found the net, with an assist by Kyle Bartley, in the 59th minute. This brought the final score to 4-0.
Sheffield United have had a poor start and have only one point from their first three games. West Bromwich Albion are on seven points.
The teams play again on Saturday, with West Brom hosting Blackburn at Ewood Parkand Sheffield Utd hosting Huddersfield.
