The second round of the English Premier League has brought us a lot of excitement. Manchester United are again showing weaknesses from previous seasons when they mostly managed to get good results in derbies while playing draws against weaker teams or even losing matches. They failed to defeat Watford this time, so Liverpool and Arsenal singled to the top of the table with 2 wins from the same number of matches.
Manchester City and Tottenham played a real derby match, after many chances, a handful of nice moves and missed opportunities, the match was decided by VAR technology. Although “Citizens” scored the third goal, after watching the video, it was determined that the player of the Citizens was playing with his hand and the final score remained 2-2. The impression is that Poch’s team is quite pleased with the point they took home from Etihad.
Liverpool have once again shown that they are not dependent on Mohamed Salah’s game, and that may be a factor they lacked for last season’s title. During the game against Southampton, he stepped away from Sadio Mane, who made great use of some more space in Southampton’s defense created by doubling Salah. Mane’s scoring and assists were enough for Liverpool’s relatively easy win. The Saints managed to reduce the score to 2-1 to 85 ‘, but had no strength to move on.
What can we expect from the third round? Round three brings us many interesting matches in the announcement. We’ll see how Arsenal manage to host Liverpool in a derby that could allow someone to isolate themselves at the top of the table. Chelsea have an imperative to win at Norwich as they only have 1 point after two rounds. Tottenham and Manchester City have a slightly easier task on paper, but such matches are usually the hardest.
Norwich – Chelsea 2 @ 1,83 as mentioned earlier, Chelsea are in a difficult position with only one point. An ideal opportunity for London Blues to catch the rhythm is to defeat a rookie. The chances of winning Chelsea are more than decent and should be redeemed.
Liverpool – Arsenal both teams score @ 1.65 One does not have to be particularly smart to realize that in a duel these two teams are all overloaded with fast games and plenty of opportunities. Bookies can also gamble and can get success, and if you want to do the same visit best free slots available online. Knowing the qualities of the attackers of both teams, anything but a high score would be a surprise. You could also try Salah’s goal that didn’t score in the last round. The odds of a Salah hit is 1.85, which is more than true given the quality of the Egyptian.
Bournemouth – Manchester City over 3.5 @ 2.00
Bournemouth, unlike most teams trying to play defensive block against City in previous seasons, showed a willingness to rally. Unfortunately, this usually results in a bunch of hits on their network as the quality difference is more than obvious. The Manchester team after the match against Tottenham are certainly waiting for the victim to seek anger over their first choice of the season, and Bournemouth could be just that.
Tottenham – Newcastle (+1.5) H1 @ 1.85 The Tottenham team managed to score a point against Manchester City and in a great mood greeted the Newcastle team, which recorded 2 losses in the first 2 rounds. Spurs usually beat teams from the bottom of the table lightly at home, so winning at least 2 goals difference should not be a problem. Heung Min Son and Harri Kane have shown that they are breaking through a more stable defense than Newcastle’s defense. Christian Eriksen’s creativity also guarantees a playful game with plenty of goals in the Newcastle network, so one can try to win with a 3 goal difference, a 3.5 odds ratio.
Enjoy the excitement brought to us by the new Premier League round, good luck!
