Danske-Bank-Premiership-League-Cup-Ballymena-United-Linfield-Predictions

It’s a big weekend of football coming up in Northern Ireland with three Danske Bank Premiership matches taking place tonight, the League Cup final taking place tomorrow night and a further league game rounding off the action on Monday night. Our panel will be making their predictions for all five matches later in this article but first, let’s take a quick look back at how last week went for the guys.

Adrian continued his rise up the table after correctly predicting the results in the Glenavon v Ards and Institute v Ballymena fixtures; he also scored a point apiece for getting the outcomes correct in the Cliftonville v Newry and Linfield v Coleraine matches. This moved him up to sixth, ten points clear of the bottom spot he has found himself in for much of the season.

The top scorer though was Keith O’D who managed a total of nine points. Like Adrian, Keith also backed a 3-2 win for Linfield against Coleraine and he also went for a 2-0 win for Gary Hamilton’s Glenavon side over basement side Ards. In fact, the only fixture Keith didn’t score points on was Dungannon Swifts v Crusaders where the Swifts surprised all of us by grabbing a 1-0 win.

Despite this, the top of the table remains unchanged as Henry managed to get five points on the board to keep himself five points clear at the top.

The full leaderboard looks like this:

1: Henry 89
2: Keith O’D 84
3: Bryan 83
4: Darren 80
5: Cameron 79
6: Adrian 76
7: Rodney 74
8: Keith F 66
