UEFA Europa League fans have been predicting on the social media site Twitter, three teams they think will win their matches in the competition tonight.
The Tweets have come in response to a post from the official Twitter account of the competition, which has evoked some interesting responses from supporters of Europe’s second-strong domestic club tournament.
Aside from Tuesday night’s clash between Fenerbache and Zenit St. Petersburg, this evening will bring the first Europa League matches since the last matchday of the group stages in December.
All but two of the teams left in the competition will be in action as the knockout rounds get underway, including Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea.
Both the Gunners and the Blues face away trips in their first legs, to BATE Borisov and Malmo respectively. Other big clubs playing include Celtic, Inter Milan, Sevilla and many more. Have a look at a selection of the prediction Tweets, below…
