After a goalless first half Blackburn Rovers seized control of the game against Nottingham Forest in the second. Ultimately Blackburn won Wednesday’s away game in the Championship 2-1.
The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Philip Zinckernagel made his mark as he netted to give Nottingham Forest the lead.
Straight after the break, Daniel Ayala made his mark and equalised for Blackburn Rovers.
The team took the lead right after this as Darragh Lenihan scored. Lenihan then completed Blackburn Rovers’s come back. This brought the final score to 1-2.
Nottingham Forest’s Jordan Gabriel was sent off in the 90th minute.
Nottingham are set to face Stoke City at bet365 Stadium, while Blackburn face West Brom. Both games are scheduled for Saturday.
